A Murder to Remember
Javier Rivera takes his equally penniless 'bride' .Celeste on a one-year anniversary lake camping trip as they still can't afford a fancy honeymoon. As they run into car trouble, she insists to accept help from local hunter Sam, and later reports to the police his gun went off, accidentally killing Javier. Moving back, she' encouraged after nightmares by her mother to return to sheriff Watkins to change her story: Sam is a murderer who kidnapped abused her, yet he passes the liar test, unlike her, so she's laughed away, lacking any evidence.
