Autumn in the City
Piper is a 29-year old woman who moves to New York City for a fresh start. She gives herself two months there to find a fulfilling career before she goes back home. Piper draws sketches in her spare time as a hobby. She meets Austin, a man who lives in the apartment across the hall. His mother is a journalist who is pushing him to be one against his wishes. Austin is also writing a children's book, which is what he really wants to do. After getting settled in New York, Piper takes a series of temp jobs, but none of them are her passion. She and Austin run into each other often. At first, her optimistic personality clashes with his jaded one, and they don't get along. However, as they engage in some verbal sparring and get to know one another, they start falling in love. Both of them are still struggling in their professional lives. But if they work together, they could make Austin's dream a reality and help Piper figure out who she's truly meant to be. Written by Patrick Lin
