For the first time since her divorce, Akosua (Nana Ama McBrown), an African schoolteacher, is in love again and preparing to fulfill her lifelong dream of moving to the U.S. with her new American boyfriend, Adrian (Anwar Jamison), who is struggling to gain acceptance from her family.
