During the initial outbreak of the pandemic in 2020, the interconnected stories of three female protagonists unfold simultaneously in different cities across China. In Wuhan, a family are divided and tested as they fall deathly ill. In Beijing, young lovers desperately want to be reunited while one of them deteriorates in isolation. And in Hong Kong, a struggling husband and wife are put to the ultimate test as the virus challenges their dedication to their careers, family, and ultimately to each other. Three separate stories, each linked through a common crisis, and each reacting in the name of a common feeling - love.
