Karen Doesn't Dream
After the passing of her mother, Karen moves back to her hometown on the Oregon coast. Between working at a porn shop and selling alcohol to high school kids; her life is truly at a dead end. Sleeping during the day and working at night, Karen finds herself desperate for something more. One night, a customer comes into the shop asking for "sleep tapes": Illicit recordings of people sleeping. These tapes immediately pique Karen's interest, and a bond is formed between the two. As Karen delves deeper into her newfound hobby, her life begins to unravel in the most dysphoric of ways.
