Louis Riel for Dinner
In 1964, the Canadian auteur filmmaker Guy Maddin found a crumpled up story outside of his elementary school. He has kept it with him his entire life, never knowing who the author was. This film is this story brought to life. It tells the tale of a cruel father, a folk hero and a duck.
