Javi (Patrick Mackie), lives and works in the fields of South Texas with his grandfather Arturo (Hector Uribe, No Country For Old Men). Secretly, Javi plans on escaping South Texas with his Mexican girlfriend, Lorena (Mayra Leal, Machete). But when Arturo's cancer takes a turn for the worse Javi's plans are put on hold. Desperate for money, Javi crosses into Mexico and meets with Lorena's brother, Adelio (Adrian Gonzalez, VIDA, STARZ) an up and coming member of a cartel. The cartel offers Javi $10,000 to walk across the border wearing a cast made of cocaine - but there's a catch. First they will break his arm. For the sake of his grandfather, Javi resorts to the unthinkable. TEJANO becomes a story of survival, as Javi evades the border patrol, swims the Rio Grande river and overcomes the border wall only to find out that the cartel has different plans for him. In a series of thrilling and action packed scenes Javi fights his way back home to reunite with Arturo. Armed with a hunting rifle and a few pistols grandfather and grandson bravely defend their home in an explosive shootout with the cartel.
