Aboard a cruise ship that runs through southern Latin America, a young Sailor discovers a corridor that mysteriously leads into an apartment in Montevideo, Uruguay. Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, in a small rural village in the Philippines, a group of farmers seems to have found an old abandoned shed in the expanse of the valley, to which they attribute supernatural powers.
